Evangeline Beach is a summer resort area near Wolfville. This rocky outcrop, known as "Redhead" is the site of fossils finds.
The beach's long stretches of sand at hide tide, hide the rocky shore visible at low tide.
Rhyncosaurs have been found in this area. They were pig-like creatures with a long overhanging beak.
The cliff face shows visible proof of the erosion that occurs in this area. The cliffs are also pock-marked with holes used as nesting sites for birds.
